to our hurricane tracking site. You will
find as much information as possible about tropical cyclones /
hurricanes located in the Atlantic, Gulf and Caribbean. A hurricane is
a exceptionally powerful cyclone (storm) that generally forms in the
tropics. The full definition of a hurricane is fairly lengthy, but is
essentially a tightly circulating storm with sustained winds of at least 74 mph.
We
will list the active hurricanes that are in the Atlantic, Gulf,
Caribbean. Atlantic hurricane season is officially from June 1 to
November 30.
